Danial Zarlengo
Director of New Construction and Modernization, Metro Elevator Utah
Danial Zarlengo brings over 12 years of experience in the elevator and construction industries to his role as Director of New Construction and Modernization for Metro Elevator Utah. His mission is simple yet powerful: to take care of customers the same way he would want to be treated—through honesty, respect, and integrity in every interaction.
Before joining Metro Elevator, Danial spent six years building hospitals on the general contracting side, followed by eight years as a new construction supervisor managing both large-scale projects and commodity elevator work. He then served as a Territory Operations Manager for a global elevator company, where he oversaw superintendents and project managers. During his career, Danial has been recognized as a New Construction Elite Superintendent for two consecutive years.
What sets Danial apart is his ability to bridge the gap between the general contracting world and the elevator industry. His GC background allows him to clearly articulate project requirements to ensure success for both the company and the customer, while his understanding of how to effectively support IUEC mechanics has led to consistently successful outcomes. Danial’s ability to lead, communicate, and foster collaboration has fueled his success in the industry—even without a traditional installer’s background.
Outside of work, Danial enjoys spending weekends with his family—whether it’s traveling together, supporting his kids in their sports, or making homemade pizza for family and friends.
