With 11 years of experience in the elevator industry, Chris McKenna brings a strong commitment to safety, quality, and accountability to his role as Service and Repair Manager for Metro Elevator South Florida. He believes successful teams are built by developing knowledgeable people, setting clear expectations, and taking ownership of the work from start to finish.
Chris is a QEI Certified Elevator Inspector and holds extensive safety and training credentials, including OSHA 500 and OSHA 501 Authorized Trainer certifications, OSHA 510 and OSHA 511 certifications, OSHA Disaster Site Worker Trainer certification, and OSHA Scaffold Competent Person training. He is passionate about helping teams understand not only how to perform their work, but why it needs to be done correctly and safely.
Known for his strong work ethic and attention to detail, Chris believes that anything he puts his name on should be completed safely and to the highest standard possible. His approach centers on earning the trust of customers, developing the people around him, and making sure everyone goes home safely at the end of the day.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys traveling and exploring new places with his wife, spending time with friends and family, working out, and tackling projects around the house. Whether he’s traveling somewhere new or figuring out how something works at home, he enjoys learning, building, and taking on a challenge.
