Walt leads Metro Elevator Pittsburgh with a straightforward philosophy: do what’s right, work hard, and put people first. He believes in being the kind of reliable, trustworthy partner that customers and coworkers are proud to work with.
Walt holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Education. He got his start in the elevator industry thanks to a persistent family member—his uncle—who encouraged him to interview for a sales role. After joining the industry 13 years ago, he quickly found a long-term career he was passionate about. Today, he brings 18 years of total professional experience, including over a decade in elevator sales, operations, and leadership.
What sets Walt apart is his reputation for making the “impossible” happen. He tackles challenges with grit, honesty, and the mindset that every problem has a solution. While he doesn’t claim to be perfect, he takes pride in doing the right thing, outworking obstacles, and earning the trust of those around him.
Outside of work, Walt spends most weekends at his cabin in Ohiopyle, PA. You’ll often find him cutting logs, cooking, tackling projects around the property, making amaro, rafting, hiking, or enjoying live music with his wife.
