Jacent Ley
Vice President, Metro Elevator Northwest

Jacent Ley brings more than three decades of hands-on experience and people-first leadership to his role as Vice President of Metro Elevator Northwest. His leadership philosophy is rooted in a simple belief: when you put people first, strong results follow. He leads by supporting both his teams and customers, knowing that trust, integrity, and strong relationships are the foundation of long-term success.

Throughout his career, Jacent has focused on empowering others, listening with intent, and leading with consistency. For him, customer service is not just a responsibility—it’s a commitment. By ensuring people feel valued and supported, he creates environments where teams perform at their best and customers receive dependable, high-quality service.


Jacent is a Licensed Elevator Mechanic and IUEC Certified Mechanic and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management. He entered the elevator industry after being stationed in Spokane, Washington during his military service, where family connections introduced him to the trade. He brings 31 years of experience in the elevator and escalator industry, including 17 years in the field installing, modernizing, servicing, and repairing equipment.


Over the past 14 years, Jacent has served in progressive leadership roles such as Superintendent, General Manager, and Area Operations Manager. His achievements include graduating Summa Cum Laude and earning Certificates of Achievement for technical training and safety leadership. What truly sets him apart is the trust he builds through integrity, experience, and a collaborative, fact-based approach shaped by time spent in the field.


Outside of work, Jacent enjoys spending time with his wife, friends, and family. He can often be found adventuring in the North Idaho Mountains, exploring new cities, scuba diving, or tinkering with his classic cars.
