Jon Mike Fisher, more commonly known as Mike, brings 41 years of experience in the elevator industry to his role as Vice President of Operations at Metro Elevator Los Angeles. Referred to the industry by a friend, Mike began his career as an apprentice and progressed through roles as a mechanic and foreman, building a strong foundation in elevator operations and developing the experience needed to lead teams and manage complex projects.
Mike’s leadership philosophy centers on the belief that sustainable success is built through people, process, and purpose. He emphasizes safety, operational excellence, accountability, and customer commitment, working to ensure teams have the tools, support, and clear expectations needed to succeed. His expertise spans project management, estimating, contract negotiation, scheduling, account management, and customer relations.
With decades of hands-on industry experience, Mike combines practical knowledge with integrity, confidence, and empathy. He believes in setting clear expectations with customers and following through with reliable execution, building lasting relationships through trust and accountability.
Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending time with his family, offshore fishing, and hunting. He also enjoys strength training and playing pickleball.
