Kyle Rupp
Director of Modernization, Metro Elevator Iowa and Metro Elevator Nebraska
Kyle Rupp brings 35 years of hands-on experience to his role as Director of Modernization for Metro Elevator Iowa and Metro Elevator Nebraska. His business philosophy is simple: deliver on the promise made to customers—every time.
Kyle began his career in the elevator industry in 1990 as an IUEC apprentice. Over the years, he has worked in nearly every aspect of the trade, including as an apprentice, service mechanic, modernization installer, and modernization and new equipment adjuster. He spent 18 years as a member of the IUEC and has also held leadership roles overseeing maintenance and modernization teams.
He holds an Associate Degree in Electronic Engineering from NEC, where he was recognized as the Outstanding Graduate of his program. Kyle’s broad industry background and deep technical knowledge set him apart, giving him a well-rounded perspective on modernization projects from start to finish.
Outside of work, Kyle enjoys spending time with his family and being outdoors. On weekends, you’ll often find him camping, fishing, hunting, or taking walks with his dog.
