Jerry Walsh brings more than 40 years of experience in the elevator industry, with extensive expertise in new construction, modernization, service, and repair. As Modernization Operations Manager for Metro Elevator Illinois, he oversees complex modernization projects with a focus on clear communication, meeting commitments, and delivering high-quality, dependable installations.
Jerry is QEI Certified and holds an Illinois State Inspectors License, Illinois State Mechanic’s License, and City of Chicago Supervising Mechanic’s License. His career includes leadership on some of Chicago’s largest modernization projects, including the Aon Center modernization, which involved 49 elevators, including 40 double-deck elevators.
Jerry’s broad technical experience, attention to detail, and knowledge across all areas of the elevator industry allow him to effectively lead projects and provide customers with reliable solutions.
Outside of work, Jerry enjoys time with his two children, as well as boating, fishing, and riding his motorcycle.
