Abe Odat
Director of Sales, Metro Elevator Houston

Abe earned his BBA from Texas Tech University and his MBA from the University of Dallas. He entered the elevator industry after beginning his career in marketing and financial services, taking a chance on an entry-level sales opportunity specializing in hydraulic modernization. That decision launched a career defined by continuous growth, dedication and a drive to better understand both the business and the needs of the customers he serves.

Over the years, Abe has taken on increasing leadership responsibilities as an Account Manager, Business Development Manager, Senior Sales Manager, General Manager and Regional Sales Director. Throughout his career, he has consistently been recognized as a top performer and, on several occasions, as the top salesperson in his area.

​

Abe believes long-term success starts with earning trust and following through on commitments. His approach combines drive, creativity and a business ownership mentality with a focus on solving problems, creating value and delivering results. He views customer success as the foundation of his own success and strives to build relationships that stand the test of time.

​

Outside of work, Abe enjoys spending time with his wife and their two active children. His weekends often involve cheering on his daughter at competitive cheer competitions or supporting his son at football and basketball games. The family also enjoys taking short trips and seeking out new adventures, especially near the water. Abe is a dedicated Pittsburgh Steelers fan, enjoys customizing vehicles and participates in fantasy football every year — even if the results haven't quite caught up with the enthusiasm.
