Darlene Paxia serves as Business Manager for Metro Elevator Florida, bringing more than 30 years of corporate expertise and entrepreneurial experience to her role. Guided by the philosophy that strong relationships, innovative thinking, and disciplined execution are the foundation of sustainable success, Darlene is committed to driving efficiency, fostering collaboration, and delivering reliable solutions that support both organizational growth and long-term success.
Her career began with an opportunity in the elevator industry that quickly grew into a true passion. For the past 11 years, she has thrived in the industry’s fast-paced environment, where no two days are the same. Darlene finds inspiration in problem-solving, adapting to new challenges, and supporting the critical role elevators play in keeping people moving safely and efficiently.
Darlene is a Certified ASME NQA-1 Lead Auditor and a member of the American Purchasing Society. She has extensive training in project management, finance, inventory and quality control, auditing, logistics, lean manufacturing, leadership, and strategic planning. Her career is highlighted by numerous recognitions, including Above and Beyond Awards in Finance & Accounting, Leadership Awards for mentoring and team collaboration, and multiple employee excellence awards.
What sets Darlene apart is her unique blend of big-picture strategic thinking and hands-on operational expertise. She combines supply chain, finance, and business management experience with an entrepreneurial mindset—ensuring processes run efficiently while aligning with organizational goals.
Outside of work, Darlene enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Her weekends are often filled with camping, fishing, traveling, and motorcycle trips. She also loves antiquing and thrifting, discovering hidden treasures wherever she goes. For Darlene, the perfect weekend balances family, adventure, and a little treasure hunting.
