With nearly 30 years of experience in the vertical transportation industry, Alyssa McGrath serves as President of Metro Elevator Colorado. She is passionate about building strong teams, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and fostering a culture where integrity, accountability, technical excellence, and service drive long-term success. Alyssa believes that when employees are empowered to succeed, operational excellence and customer satisfaction naturally follow.
Throughout her career, Alyssa has led multi-million-dollar operations and held executive leadership roles across service, modernization, consulting, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and organizational development. She has built high-performing teams, launched new business lines, and helped organizations achieve sustainable growth. Alyssa holds a bachelor's degree from Iowa State University, is OSHA 10 Certified, and remains committed to continuous leadership development and industry engagement.
Alyssa discovered her passion for the elevator industry during her final semester at Iowa State University. What began as an unexpected career opportunity quickly became a lifelong profession, inspired by the industry's unique blend of engineering, problem solving, customer relationships, and business strategy.
Known for her people-first leadership style, Alyssa believes great businesses are built by great people. She is committed to creating an environment where employees feel supported, challenged, and empowered to grow, knowing that engaged teams deliver exceptional service and lasting customer relationships. Her leadership has earned multiple industry honors, including a Leader of the Year award and several Leadership Excellence awards.
Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys spending time with her husband, Mike, their two children, Wyatt and Abi, and their four rescue dogs. She also enjoys weight training, running, hiking, skiing, and making the most of Colorado's beautiful outdoors with her family.
