Chris Gallagher
Vice President of Operations, Metro Elevator Michigan
Chris Gallagher leads operations for Metro Elevator Michigan with a simple mission: grow a strong, lasting, and customer-oriented business. He brings 28 years of elevator industry experience—18 years in the field and 10 years in the office—so he understands both the hands-on work and the bigger operational picture.
Chris began his career through the IUEC apprenticeship and worked his way up through roles including apprentice, mechanic, repair superintendent, service operations manager, and construction manager. He is a licensed elevator contractor and elevator journeyman for the City of Detroit and the State of Michigan and is QEI certified.
What sets Chris apart is his deep understanding of the industry and the needs of customers. He combines practical field experience with strong operational leadership to deliver reliable, safe, and responsive elevator services. Chris focuses on building long-term relationships and delivering solutions that keep customers’ buildings running smoothly.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys golfing, coaching baseball, and spending time with family and friends. His leadership style reflects the same teamwork and commitment he brings to the field—steady, practical, and focused on results.
