With 27 years of experience in the elevator industry, Kevin Bonham serves as Vice President of Operations at Metro Elevator Kansas City. Known for his practical leadership and consistent follow-through, Kevin brings deep technical expertise and operational insight to the team. His guiding philosophy is simple but powerful: operate with integrity and deliver on your promises.
Kevin’s journey in the elevator trade is rooted in family tradition—his family has worked in the industry since 1978. After completing the NEIEP apprenticeship, he spent 19 years as a mechanic and service adjuster, gaining hands-on experience across all aspects of the trade. His career later evolved into leadership and business operations, including eight years of increasing P&L responsibility and serving as Branch Manager in Kansas City. Kevin also shares his knowledge as an NEIEP instructor for IUEC Local 12.
Throughout his career, Kevin has been recognized for high-performance leadership and consistent results. He’s known for his solution-focused mindset—seeing opportunity where others might see obstacles—and for helping drive both customer satisfaction and team success.
On the weekends, you’ll find Kevin on the farm, restoring tractors, or cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs. His grounded, hands-on nature and love for community reflect the values he brings to every project.
