Joe Maddox
Operations Manager, Metro Elevator Waco

Joe Maddox serves as Operations Manager for Metro Elevator Waco, supporting commercial properties throughout Waco and the surrounding Central Texas area. He is focused on delivering safe, reliable, and forward-thinking elevator solutions in a region where dependable performance and responsive service matter. 

Joe believes vertical transportation is about more than moving people—it’s about building trust, supporting accessibility, and creating seamless daily experiences. His approach centers on high-quality workmanship, strong safety standards, and long-term relationships built through transparency and integrity. 

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Management and brings extensive leadership experience from his military background. Joe is OSHA 30 and forklift certified and received leadership and academic awards during his service. 

 

With 11 years in the elevator industry, Joe’s connection to the work started early. He grew up around it—his father spent more than 50 years as a technician, and several other family members have worked in both field and office roles. That foundation shaped his hands-on understanding of the industry and the importance of doing things the right way. 

 

What sets Joe apart is his ability to connect strategy with execution—turning big-picture goals into clear, actionable plans while staying closely involved to remove obstacles and keep teams aligned. 

Outside of work, Joe enjoys spending time with his family. He is a married father of two adult children and a proud grandfather who enjoys being outdoors, playing hockey, watching football and hockey, and volunteering in his local community.
